Georgia Thanks Armenia for Offered Assistance

The head of the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs has expressed gratitude to Armenia for its offered assistance in extinguishing a forest fire, as reported by "Sputnik Georgia."

"They offered to help us with equipment, although we have also mobilized equipment ourselves; however, as you can see, we physically cannot use a large amount due to the terrain," said Vakhtang Gomelauri.

According to him, the most effective method is the use of aircraft, but given the widespread fires throughout Europe, it is unlikely that Georgian authorities can expect to receive aircraft assistance.
