"The struggle will intensify from September," says Saghatelyan
From September, the "Resistance" movement will begin its struggle with great momentum, making changes to its strategy. This means that we will not back down from organizing daily marches, protests, and demonstrations, as we did in May, but this does not mean that there will not be days when we revert to that mode. This was stated by Ishkhan Saghatelyan, a member of the National Assembly from the "Armenia" faction and a representative of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) in an interview with "Erkir Media," "5th Channel," and "H2" television.
"We will enter that regime in a more organized, fortified, and expanded manner. After we solve the issues set before us, we will be ready for a major action, and for that, we need to carry out all preparatory work. We have had significant successes, and no matter how much they try to downplay them, it is evident that the 'Resistance' movement has played an important role for the Armenian people in this fateful phase of our history," said Ishkhan Saghatelyan.
The parliament member reminded that a rally for the "Resistance" movement is scheduled for September 2.
When asked whether they would participate in the independence movement initiative announced by Edgar Ghazaryan, the former Armenian ambassador to Poland and former head of the Constitutional Court staff, which states that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan should not be in office by September 21 at the latest, Saghatelyan replied: "We have repeatedly stated that we will support all those who initiate actions of struggle against this government. We will support Edgar Ghazaryan's rally called for August 23, and I will personally attend. Taking this opportunity, I urge our citizens to be present at the rally."
It should be noted that Edgar Ghazaryan had previously announced about the independence movement, which is set to start on August 23, the day of the adoption of Armenia's Declaration of Independence, and end on September 21, the date of Armenia's independence declaration.
"In other words, by September 21 at the latest, Nikol Pashinyan should not be the Prime Minister of Armenia," Ghazaryan had said.
