Forest Fires in Turkey: Flames Rapidly Spread Due to Wind
In the western Turkish province of Sökü, a forest fire has ignited. The blaze has intensified due to strong winds, covering an area of approximately 40 hectares, according to ermenihaber.
Citizens have reported the fire to the firefighting and rescue services. Fire crews that arrived on the scene have managed to contain the blaze, which started under unknown circumstances. Olive trees have been damaged as a result of the fire.
