Youth World Championship: Vigen Nazaryan Reaches Finals

At the ongoing Greco-Roman wrestling U20 World Championship in Sofia, Bulgaria, three representatives from Armenia reached the semifinals. Vigen Nazaryan has qualified for the World Championship finals.

In the 87 kg weight category, Nazaryan won his qualifying match against a representative from Kyrgyzstan with a score of 9-0, followed by an 8-3 victory against an Egyptian wrestler in the Round of 16, and a 3-1 win over his Ukrainian opponent in the quarterfinals.

In the semifinals, Nazaryan faced Kazakhstan’s Makat Saylau and claimed victory with a score of 9-0. In the finals, Nazaryan's opponent will be Ali Choobani from Iran.
