The Armenian chess player and grandmaster Levon Aronian, representing the United States, made a post on his Twitter account regarding the performance of Armenia's men's chess team at the World Olympiad and their achievement of becoming runners-up.

Teams from Uzbekistan and India delivered incredible performances, but Armenia is special to me. "Winning silver and being so close to gold is simply unbelievable, and I am proud of it. I hope that this sensational performance receives the recognition it deserves," he wrote.
