Scandal in Azerbaijan's Emergency Situations Ministry: Lieutenant Colonel Filmed Employees' Intimate Relations

A suspect has been arrested in connection with the distribution of intimate videos and photos of several employees from Azerbaijan's Ministry of Emergency Situations. Azerbaijani media report this, citing the General Prosecutor's Office.

An investigation has been launched into the dissemination of intimate videos and photographs of several employees of the Ministry in various media outlets and social networks.

"The investigation has revealed that the assistant to the head of the state fire service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Lieutenant Colonel Zaur Mirzoyev, had installed a hidden camera on his office computer. The recordings of intimate relations with women took place from 2013 until the end of 2019. This led to the illegal distribution of pornographic material online in August 2022," the report states. A criminal case has been initiated.
