Person Organizing Fireworks on Day of Mourning Identified: Police

On the evening of August 17, the police received several reports of fireworks being set off in the Arabkir administrative district. Through actions taken by the officers of the Arabkir police department, it was established that the fireworks had taken place on Vrakzakan Street.

Shortly thereafter, the individual responsible was identified as a foreign national. He presented law enforcement with an empty box of the fireworks materials and stated that he was unaware that a day of mourning was declared in Armenia from August 17 to 18.

An administrative proceeding was conducted, and the relevant report on the administrative violation was prepared.
