Funeral Services Held in All Churches for Innocent Victims' Souls

Under the direction of His Grace Archbishop Navi Sardar Kchoyan, the vicar of the Ararat Patriarchal Diocese, funeral services are being conducted today, August 18, in all churches of the diocese for the souls of the innocent victims who perished in the "Surmalu" shopping center disaster.

On August 17 and 18, days of mourning have been declared in the Republics of Armenia and Artsakh in memory of the citizens who lost their lives due to the explosion at the "Surmalu" shopping center.

It is reminded that an explosion occurred at the "Surmalu" shopping center on August 14, resulting in 16 fatalities. One citizen is considered missing. The total number of injured is 61. Four of the injured continue to receive treatment in various hospitals, and their health condition is assessed as satisfactory. The other hospitalized individuals have been discharged with positive dynamics in their condition.
