Today my husband was brought to his lawyer in a carried condition at the detention facility, Pavel Manukyan's wife reports

Marina Manukyan, the wife of Pavel Manukyan, a member of the 'Sasna Tsrer' group, made a statement on her Facebook page:

“Renounce your share in the murder! A few days ago, my husband, Pavel Manukyan, who has serious health issues and requires mandatory medical supervision and postoperative treatment, was transferred by the current authorities from Izmirlian Medical Center to Nubarashen detention facility. Today, he was brought to the lawyer in a carried (slung) condition. My husband is unable to move by himself; the conditions in his cell are not adequate for someone with his health issues (from basic needs to medical aid). Due to such conditions, his health has deteriorated drastically. The lack of postoperative care and appropriate conditions after a complicated surgery is tantamount to torture of Pavel Manukyan. Why does this authority dream of killing a person? This question may be sought by many. In my opinion, this regime suffers from a compulsion to kill. Since the official currently authorized to immediately stop the torture of Pavel Manukyan is Kamo Manukyan, the director of the Penitentiary Medical Center, I appeal to Kamo Manukyan: Mr. Manukyan, renounce your share in the murder and transfer Pavel Manukyan to the ‘Hospital for Convicts’ KPKH. I also appeal to the Prosecutor General of Armenia and the Human Rights Defender of Armenia to prevent the murder and cease the torture.”
