Official Letter from Prosecutor General Denies Pashinyan's Statements: Gegham Manukyan
The official letter from the Prosecutor General refutes Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's statements regarding mass treason in the Fatherland. This was written by Gegham Manukyan, a member of the National Assembly from the 'Armenia' faction, on his Facebook page.
The lawmaker published the response he received from the Prosecutor's Office and added, 'They indicated that from September 27 to November 9, 2020, no criminal cases had been initiated in the National Security Service’s investigative department on charges of state treason.' The motive behind my inquiry was different. Many will remember that during the most critical days of the war, when the front line broke, and immediately after the failure of the operation known as Pashinyan's advertised counteroffensive on October 5-6, on October 8, he unexpectedly posted that panic and confusion had spread among the troops at the front.
He called for mass baseless accusations and then urged, '... our compatriots who possess similar information should appeal to the National Security Service... Traitors must have no place among us, and the backs of our heroic generals, officers, soldiers, volunteers, and freedom fighters must be cleared of such elements...' On the same day, a woman who was in Artsakh rushed to make a post about treason without staying back with her husband. This was also followed by a message from the NSS stating that based on the 'leader's' declaration, they had apprehended a resident of Artsakh. On that day, the newly appointed head of the NSS, the irreplaceable Kyaramyan, was dismissed for unknown reasons but remained in Artsakh. (This has been a topic of discussion for about 2 years, but that’s another issue).
It has been nearly two years since Pashinyan's writing and the subsequent NSS statement. Recently, the NSS rejected my request for the information mentioned, claiming it was a pre-investigation secret (nonetheless, I am pursuing the matter), but it is notable that in response to the same queries, the Prosecutor General's Office stated that no criminal cases concerning state treason had been initiated during that time. Therefore, there were no reasons to accuse anyone. Pashinyan simply needed to create such an atmosphere that everyone is a traitor, while he, the 'hero, what can he do?'. The woman hurried to provide moral support to her husband. Long ago, the NSS officers, who had changed their military insignias for the palace attire of Pashinyan's servants, had repeatedly echoed their leader's words like parrots. The strategy of feeding the public fabricated treasons and traitors, and rooting public sentiment has long become an operational method of the NSS.
Periodically, especially in the morning hours, the NSS frequently announces another betrayal with a terrifying sound, utilizing video footage compiled from previous incidents. The footage isn’t new; in 2018, General Manvel Grigoryan was supposedly gathered for the 'tushankoners' in a poorly directed manner by a revolutionary agitator of those days, who is now a current ruling party MP wishing to become the mayor of Alaverdi, and who has not denied it to this day. All instances of these subsequent 'treasons' until yesterday concerned the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia. Military personnel, contractual soldiers. The Stalin-Pashinyan verdict was pronounced, but then they would forget to apologize to those who were justified and had their charges dropped. Some even received promotions and advancements. The important thing is that the society heard the news, continuously, in a dry Lebitan voice, heard the verdict-declarations.
And in a mass self-disgrace, stating that our armed forces have betrayed, that everyone has betrayed, while 'that hero' (Pashinyan) was powerless to oppose it—what guilt does he bear? They didn’t provide grounds for deep thinking or analysis as to why all similar, supposedly uncovered cases are attributed to the periods of Pashinyan's governance in 2020-2021. No one even analyzes why the public atmosphere has become defenseless—the daily treasonous statements come from the mouths of ruling party MPs, officials, and Pashinyan himself, while establishing contact with the enemy is no longer considered a red line, treason, or heinous act.
However, the NSS fairy tale had become very uninteresting; the bubble was bursting. Now, every lunatic who seeks to cover their own sins turns into an Azerbaijani spy, as happened the day before with a crazy individual from Vanadzor. One just needs to read the statement. The Armenian intelligence officers were so hasty that they didn’t even publish the information on their official website after releasing it.
Why do I pursue all these events dating back two years? The answer is more than clear—piece by piece, fact by fact, episode by episode, compiling Facebook posts and Pashinyan's edits side by side creates a big picture of betrayal. The day is not far when the last piece will fit into the unified image. P.S. I am attaching all writings—queries, responses, and posts. Next, regarding another enemy revealed in Pashinyan's statement, Kyaramyan and the Investigative Committee of Armenia have already written a denial in response to my inquiry. More on this later,' Manukyan wrote.
