Former Deputy Arrested Over Father's Kidnapping: Khachatur Kokobelyan

Former Deputy Khachatur Kokobelyan announced on his Facebook page:

“Dear citizens, I want to inform you that just a short while ago, Suren Manukyan, a member of the Supreme Body of the ARF and a former deputy, was arrested in connection with the fact of my father’s kidnapping, along with two other accomplices. There are also two more arrests in this case abroad. I should note that neither I nor any members of my family know these individuals and have never had any connection with them. I expect a clear assessment from my colleagues in the ARF regarding this inhuman act. I would like to extend my gratitude to the Police of the Republic of Armenia, led by Police Chief Vahe Ghazaryan, the law enforcement agencies, and international organizations for their effective efforts and work,” wrote Kokobelyan, adding that he will provide updates on further developments and other members of the criminal group.
