Send All Russians Back to Russia: Zelensky's Call to Western Leaders
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has urged Western countries to prohibit all Russians from entering their nations. His remarks are quoted by The Washington Post.
Zelensky referred to closing borders as the "most important sanction." He stated that "Russians are seizing land that belongs to others." He believes that Russian citizens "should live in their own world until they change their philosophy."
Zelensky added that this measure should also apply to Russians who have left their country in protest. "Send Russians back to Russia, whatever they may be," he said. The Ukrainian leader emphasized the necessity of holding the "entire population of Russia accountable." He remarked, "This population chose this government, and they are not fighting against it, they are not arguing, they are not shouting at it."
