Large Fire Behind ‘Arinj Mall’: What We Know

On August 9, at 17:40, the National Crisis Management Center received a report that accumulated paper was burning behind the ‘Arinj Mall’ shopping center.

A firefighting unit from the Emergency Situations Ministry's Yerevan Rescue Department was dispatched to the scene. A complexity level of ‘1-BIS’ was declared for the fire, and three additional teams were sent to assist.

It was determined that the fire broke out in the ‘Aas Industria’ LLC production facility located at 2/1, 2nd Street in the Arinj B neighborhood of Yerevan. The fire was contained by 18:23.
