The Driver Involved in the Nissan Murano Accident Was 13 Years Old, While 3 Injured Passengers Were 14
The Investigation Committee has confirmed the identities of the injured individuals and the driver involved in a major traffic accident in the Ararat region that occurred on August 4. It has been revealed that the Nissan Murano was driven by 13-year-old Babken Z. from the Ararat region. He lost control of the vehicle on the Masis-Nubarashen highway, veering off the roadway and overturning.
As a result of the accident, Babken Z. and three passengers—14-year-old Garnik S. from the Ararat region, and 14-year-olds Tigran A. and Henxel Sh. from Yerevan—were taken to the St. Astvatsamayr Medical Center with injuries, according to shamshyan.com.
Earlier reports indicated that a major traffic accident occurred in the Ararat region on August 4. At approximately 1:45 PM, the Nissan Murano lost control while approaching the circular intersection on the Masis-Nubarashen highway, collided with rocks, and ended up overturned in a field.
Due to the incident, four minors were transported to the St. Astvatsamayr medical center with varying degrees of injuries. Eyewitnesses at the scene stated that the injured were escorted to the hospital by squad commander K. Harutyunyan and senior inspector Gevorg Hambardzumyan from the Masis police department's community police division. The police and the investigative department were working to establish the identities of the driver and the injured individuals.
