The effectiveness of the Istanbul agreements, which allow for the export of food from Ukraine by sea, should extend to other categories of products. As reported by the Financial Times, this proposal was put forward by Taras Kochkan, Ukraine's Deputy Minister of Economy and Trade Representative.

"This agreement pertains to logistics, to the movement of ships in the Black Sea. What is the difference between grain and iron ore?" he said.

According to the newspaper, Kyiv is interested in resuming the export of metallurgical products by sea.
