Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense Announces Capture of Mount Saritsasar; Artsakh Responds

Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense has announced that its armed forces have taken control of Mount Saritsasar and several other heights in Artsakh. This information was reported by TASS.

Auroranews.am reached out to Metakse Hakobyan, a member of the Artsakh National Assembly's "Justice" faction, to verify the information.

"I have no such information, nor is there any official confirmation. I believe Azerbaijan is making its intimidating statements to instigate another wave of panic. The tension has not diminished; there are still occasional actions from the enemy, but they do not have the intensity that they had in previous days," Metakse Hakobyan said in an interview.

It is noteworthy that the Artsakh Defense Army has not yet responded to Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense's announcement.
