Enemy Observed Advancing Positions, Says Head of Yeghkhahogh Community

Enemy forces have been observed advancing their positions, moving forward by two positions. Following this, Russian peacekeepers intervened, and they are now stationed at their border. There have been no shots fired or incursions towards the village, said Artak Hakobyan, the head of the Yeghkhahogh community in Shushi, in an interview with Tert.am.

He noted that the situation is currently calm. “There is no tension at this moment; the night passed quietly. A few shots were heard in the village, but there were no military actions close to the village. There is no panic among the residents of Yeghkhahogh, nor is there any evacuation; everyone is busy with their daily activities,” the community leader stated.

It is worth reminding that on August 3, starting at 09:00, Azerbaijani units targeted the positions of the Artsakh Defense Army and a permanent deployment site of one of its military units using various caliber firearms, grenade launchers, and strike drones. The Armenian side reported 2 fatalities and 19 injured.
