Discussions Underway: Details from the Putin-Erdoğan Meeting
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated during his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Sochi that they must open a new chapter of cooperation.
“We need to put an end to this. I believe our negotiations will open a new chapter in the relations between our two countries. I mean energy cooperation, grain exports from the Black Sea, tourism, and regional issues,” the Turkish president said. This information was reported by RIA Novosti.
According to Erdoğan, one of the topics of discussion will be the Syrian issue. “It is important for us to combat terrorism in the region,” said the Turkish president.
Erdoğan noted that the entire world is currently watching the discussions in Sochi.
