11-Year-Old Boy Dies After Falling From Roof in Vardenis Park

A tragic incident occurred in the Gegharkunik region on August 4th. At around 9:30 PM, the Vardenis police department received a report from the medical center indicating that a boy had been transported to them in an unconscious state.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, police and investigators have clarified that the deceased was an 11-year-old boy, identified as R.B., who had climbed onto the roof of a disused metal hut in the park named after V. Hambardzumyan while playing around 7:30 PM. He attempted to retrieve a ball snagged on a tree branch above the roof but fell accidentally.

A criminal case has been launched in the Vardenis Investigative Department regarding the incident. The investigator has ordered multiple examinations, including a forensic examination of the body.
