KOSOVO SPECIAL FORCES ARREST SERBS AND THREATEN 'WE'LL SEE YOU IN A MONTH'

Kosovo's special forces (ROSU) have stopped and arrested a group of Serbs on the road. This has been reported by international media outlets. Video footage is also circulating on Telegram channels, purportedly showing the arrest.

During searches, armed special forces reportedly threatened the residents of Serbian enclaves with the statement 'we'll see you in a month.'

It is important to note that the situation in Kosovo has been tense. The crisis in the region escalated after the authorities of the self-proclaimed Republic of Kosovo announced the termination of the use of Serbian state license plates in the region effective August 1, as well as tightening entry rules for more than 50,000 Serbs residing there.

It was planned that when entering the region from Serbia, local Serbs would have to present identification documents issued by the authorities of the partially recognized republic. In response, representatives of the Serbian community in Kosovo constructed barricades on several key roads. Yesterday evening, after a meeting with the U.S. ambassador in Pristina, Kosovo authorities announced the postponement of the implementation of the new rules by one month.
