No Explosives Found at Airport and City Hall

On August 2, at 18:59, information was received at the National Crisis Management Center that explosive devices had been placed at the Yerevan City Hall, all metro stations, Zvartnots International Airport, at 19 Baghramyan Street, as well as at all major military and civilian facilities.

Fire-rescue teams from the Emergency Situations Ministry's Rescue Service in Yerevan were dispatched to the mentioned addresses. A canine unit from the Special Rescue Operations Center of the Rescue Forces Department also headed to Zvartnots International Airport, while an engineering-sapper group from the Civil Defense Forces Collective Center was sent to 19 Baghramyan Street.

The operation of the metro was temporarily halted to carry out site inspection work. The inspections at the airport and city hall have been completed, and no explosive devices were found.
