Evacuation Conducted at All Metro Stations: What is Happening

Evacuations have been carried out at all metro stations, and all individuals have been removed. The metro will remain indefinitely closed until the situation is clarified. This was announced in an interview with Auroranews.am by Tatyana Khachatryan, the press secretary of the Metro.

It is worth noting that today, at 18:59, the National Crisis Management Center received information about the placement of explosive devices in the Yerevan City Hall, at all metro stations, at Zvartnots International Airport, at 19 Baghramyan Street, as well as at all vital military and civilian facilities.

One fire and rescue team from the Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations has been dispatched to the aforementioned addresses. A canine unit from the Special Rescue Operations Center of the Rescue Forces has also been sent to Zvartnots International Airport, while an engineering reconnaissance unit from the Civil Defense Administration has been dispatched to 19 Baghramyan Street.
