VIDEO: "After waiting for 12 hours, they took my passport, denied my entry" - Syune Abrahamyan

Syune Abrahamyan, a member of the Armenian Youth Federation from the Netherlands, has been denied entry into Armenia. She reported on her Facebook page that after being held at the airport for 12 hours without any explanation, she was informed that she is a persona non grata and must return to the Netherlands.

“I arrived at Zvartnots Airport last night to participate in volunteering camps organized by the ARF Youth Office in Syunik. After being held for 12 hours without any explanation, I was informed that I could not enter the homeland because I am an undesirable person and must return to the Netherlands,” Syune wrote on her Facebook page.

In this regard, Kristine Vardanyan, a parliament member from the “Armenia” faction and an ARF member, stated that only Azerbaijan and Nikol’s government have a blacklist for Armenians. “Only Azerbaijan and Nikol's government have a blacklist for Armenians. It seems that one of the unannounced terms agreed upon on November 9 is that Armenia must exceed Azerbaijan in terms of human rights violations. Apparently, during meetings with 'civilized and constructive' partners, our blacklists are equated with those of two dictators. The reality is that the war declared against us did not end on November 9, and it does not matter how many times we raise the white flag. Thus, there is no choice between ‘peace and war’; the real choice lies between annihilation or resistance,” she wrote.

It should be noted that earlier entry was also denied to Murad Papazyan, a member of the ARF Bureau and co-chair of the Coordinating Council of Armenian Organizations of France (CCAF).
