Borrell Complains That He Is Less Known in Western Media Than Lavrov

The head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, has expressed dissatisfaction that he is less known in Western media than Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. This was reported by RIA Novosti.

“Lavrov is going to Africa to try to convince Africans that European sanctions are to blame for everything that is happening. And the entire Western media repeats this. I am going to Africa to say the opposite, that sanctions have nothing to do with it,” Borrell said in an interview with Cadena SER radio.

Borrell noted that there is a trend of “listening to the enemy.” He also called for doubling efforts to counter the spread of Russian misinformation, which he considers to be false.
