Zelensky Receives Sir Winston Churchill Award

The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson, has awarded Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky the Sir Winston Churchill Award. The award was given for "incredible courage, defiance against Putin's barbaric invasion, and dignity," the British government wrote on Twitter.

The ceremony took place at Downing Street, with Zelensky participating via video link. Following the award, the Ukrainian president wrote on Telegram that "this award would not be possible without the entire Ukrainian people standing up to defend freedom against the tyranny that seeks to take us back to the worst times."
