Unprecedented Drought Begins in France

Due to drought conditions, 90 out of 96 departments in France have been placed on high alert. This is reported by the Propluvia governmental news site.

Water usage is only permitted for priority purposes such as public health, civil safety, drinking water, and sanitation. The use of water is limited or prohibited for gardening, golf courses, and vehicle washing.

This unprecedented drought in certain regions of France is also contributing to forest fires.
