Peskov on Foreign Ships Blocked in Ukrainian Ports

The spokesperson for the Russian President, Dmitry Peskov, discussing foreign ships blocked in Ukrainian ports, stated that the Defense Ministry is aware of the issue. Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had announced that 70 foreign vessels are trapped in the territorial waters of Ukraine due to mines.

“No, I have no comments on this issue, yes, this is a known situation. As far as I understand, the Defense Ministry is aware of it; it is within the jurisdiction of this agency to deal with the matter now,” noted Peskov.
