Armenia Refuses to Discuss the Zangezur Corridor Issue and Has Rejected It from the Start: Aghajanyan
Armenia has repeatedly stated that the logic of the Zangezur corridor is unacceptable in any form for the country, announced Edward Aghajanyan, the Chair of the National Assembly's Foreign Relations Permanent Committee and a member of the Armenian delegation to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, during a meeting with reporters.
"I find it important to mention that as a result of the recent meeting between Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, the President of Azerbaijan, and the President of the Council of Europe, the President of Azerbaijan made a relevant statement that also mentioned the Zangezur corridor. However, the office of the Council of Europe president issued a clarifying statement that such a matter was not discussed," Aghajanyan noted.
According to him, Azerbaijan's conduct does not contribute to or encourage constructive discussions. "Unfortunately, our neighbors are characterized by improper behavior or actions that do not adhere to agreements," emphasized the Chair of the National Assembly's Foreign Relations Permanent Committee.
Aghajanyan assured that Armenia refuses to discuss the issue of the Zangezur corridor and has rejected it from the very beginning.
