Zelensky Highlights Ukraine's Casualty Figures

The combat losses in Ukraine have decreased compared to the previous months, reaching up to 30 casualties per day, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky told the Wall Street Journal. In an interview published on Friday, Zelensky stated that he always knows the exact numbers, as he lives with it "every day." By checking his phone for the latest data provided by military officials, Zelensky noted that during the peak of battles in May and June, Ukraine was losing 100-200 soldiers daily, whereas now around 30 soldiers are killed and approximately 250 are injured each day.

The Ukrainian president, citing military policy, has refused to disclose the total military losses of the country since the beginning of the Russian military operation, but he asserts that this number is several times lower than the figures reported by Russia.
