Xavi Asks to Bring Back Messi

The head coach of Spain's runner-up team, FC Barcelona, Xavi, has requested club president Joan Laporta to bring back Argentine forward Lionel Messi, who transferred to French champions PSG last summer, as reported by Sport.es.

The 35-year-old forward's contract with the Parisian club is set to run until the end of the next season. Messi was part of the Barcelona system from 2000 to 2001.

Joan Laporta has stated that Messi's story at the Catalan club is not yet finished.
