For that 'peace,' the government will keep giving in, and they will never be satisfied: Abrahamyan

Member of Parliament Tigran Abrahamyan from the 'Honorary' faction writes: 'My visits to border communities show that even some of those living there do not fully understand what Azerbaijanis are capable of and what could happen in a fragile peace situation.

My remarks especially pertain to the post-44-day war period, after the transfer of Kashatagh and Karvachar regions to Azerbaijan, which have now become adjacent to our communities. In those areas, many can discuss for hours all the looming dangers hanging over their heads, yet there are individuals who believe that everything is over and that those living just a few kilometers from Azerbaijani positions are no longer at risk.

This logic is constantly imposed by the government on the public, trying to embed in people's minds: be calm, whatever we give will suffice, there will be no fighting. But the truth is that for this 'peace,' the government will keep giving in, while our counterparts will never be satisfied.

They are establishing border security based on the same reasoning, despite the fact that the term 'establishing' here is a significant exaggeration. The war has not even become a lesson in this regard.'
