Mass Poisoning from Water in Turkey

Residents of the village of Çaydırıth Yuva in Turkey's Bolu province have been poisoned by tap water, as reported by Hyurriet, citing the country's Health Minister Fahrettin Koca. The number of affected individuals has approached 100.

“The total is 98, of which 45 are adults and 53 are children,” he stated, adding that around 60 are in intensive care.

Local media report that many people have recently visited hospitals, and it has been determined that they were poisoned by tap water. The governor’s office in Bolu published a written statement saying that some children and adults in the village have complained of stomach pains, diarrhea, and nausea, prompting an investigation.
