Turkey's Defense Minister Seeks Another Meeting with Shoigu: What Will Be Discussed?
Turkey's Defense Minister Hulusi Akar has stated his intention to hold an additional meeting with Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu and their Ukrainian counterparts. He expressed hope that Russia and Ukraine would soon send their personnel to a coordinating center.
Akar announced that the overall coordination of the center would take place from Turkey. On July 22, agreements signed in Istanbul between Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, and the UN suggest the establishment of a quadrilateral coordinating center. Representatives from this center will inspect ships transporting grain to prevent the smuggling of weapons.
