Road Police Issues Warning

The Chief of the Road Police, Colonel Egor Karapetyan, has released a statement regarding the festive events of Vardavar. It reads: "Dear citizens, due to the festive events of Vardavar, on July 24, the Road Police will be conducting enhanced services on the busiest road sections under its jurisdiction, especially on the Yerevan-Sevan route.

I urge all drivers and those traveling to be particularly alert, to strictly adhere to traffic safety rules, to avoid excessive self-confidence, and not to endanger the lives and health of other road users. We will be particularly focused on individuals driving under the influence, and no leniency will be shown towards them. Any driver exhibiting illegal behavior will be punished to the full extent of the law, and their vehicles will be moved to designated secure areas.

Dear citizens, to preserve the festive spirit of the day, I urge everyone to work together to prevent possible accidents and to adhere to traffic safety rules more responsibly. I wish everyone a safe journey on the occasion of the Transfiguration of Christ, Vardavar!"
