Husband Fires Shots Near Ex-Wife's Building

On July 21, at 02:10 AM, a 20-year-old citizen called the police to report that her ex-husband was firing shots near their building in the 3rd district of Charentsavan and requested police assistance.

Upon arrival at the specified address, the operational group was informed by the woman that around 02:00 AM, her ex-husband had threatened to kill her while in the back of their building. She noticed a gun in his hand, after which a gunshot was fired, damaging the window frame of the apartment.

A decision was made to apply immediate intervention against the 32-year-old resident of Charentsavan. A criminal case was initiated.

As a result of measures taken by the detectives of the Charentsavan police department and explanatory work, on July 22, the 32-year-old man appeared before the investigative body, presenting the 9mm handgun with which he had fired shots near his ex-wife's building. An examination has been appointed, and the investigation is ongoing.
