36-Year-Old Driver Involved in Pedestrian Accident

On July 23, a pedestrian accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 1:00 PM, a 36-year-old resident of Yerevan, Ara M., while driving his Mercedes, hit a pedestrian, a 60-year-old resident of Yerevan, Lilia G., as he was proceeding from Saharov Square to Nalbandyan Street.

According to shamshyan.com, the driver did not flee the scene, called an ambulance, and assisted the medical team that arrived promptly to transport the injured pedestrian to University Hospital Number 1.

An investigation has been initiated by investigator G. Shagoyan regarding the accident.

The driver underwent sobriety testing at the scene and was found to be sober.
