Scandal in the US: Hyundai's Subsidiary Exploited Migrant Children

In Alabama, the subsidiary of Hyundai has reportedly exploited the labor of migrant children. This information was brought to light by Reuters. According to the agency, the incident came to attention after a child from a migrant family from Guatemala went missing for a brief period.

The girl, who turns 14 this month, along with her two brothers aged 12 and 15, worked at the factory and did not attend school, which is prohibited under Alabama law, as stated in the publication. This information has been confirmed to reporters by the children's father.

It remains unclear how many underage migrants are involved in the metal stamping company. The police have notified the state prosecutor's office about the case. Hyundai Motor and its subsidiary have not yet commented on the situation.
