It is known why entry to Armenia was banned for Murad Papazyan
The Information and Public Relations Department of the Armenian Prime Minister's Office has clarified the grounds for banning the entry of Murad Papazyan, the president of the Coordinating Council of Armenian Organizations of France (CCAF), into the Republic of Armenia on July 13.
The office reported that Papazyan's entry into Armenia was banned based on points "g" and "z" of Article 8 of the RA Law on Foreigners.
This individual is one of the perpetrators who organized an attack on the government delegation led by the Prime Minister near the Armenian Embassy in France on June 1 of the previous year. Various objects were thrown at the convoy, which was marked with the Armenian state flag. The Prime Minister's vehicle that bore the Armenian state flag was attacked, and the situation was only managed by the efforts of the French police and security forces.
Data confirming this has been published by various media outlets, and videos are available online. The entry into the Republic of Armenia has been banned not only for the individual mentioned by you but also for the active participants in the attack. Moreover, the Republic of Armenia has no reservations against any participants in peaceful protests. However, the entry of those who organized and participated in the attacks has been legally prohibited by the established procedure.
Article 8 of the RA Law on Foreigners defines the grounds for refusing to grant a visa to a foreigner (extending the deadline), invalidating an issued entry visa, or prohibiting entry into the Republic of Armenia.
