Armenian Foreign Ministry Issues Statement

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia has responded and condemned the shelling in the Iraqi Kurdistan region of Zakho, which resulted in casualties and injuries.

“We express our deepest condolences to our friendly Iraq and the Iraqi people regarding the tragic deaths of civilians in Zakho due to the shelling. We strongly condemn the violence perpetrated against the civilian population and wish a speedy recovery to the injured,” stated spokesperson Vahan Hunanyan in a Twitter post.
