Another Unprecedented Movement in Syunik Region

The newspaper "Hraparak" reports that there is again unprecedented movement in the Syunik region. European officials and diplomats are frequently visiting the area. Recently, the Chief of Police Vahe Ghazaryan visited the region, followed by Territorial Administration Minister Gnel Sanosyan yesterday.

During the police chief's visit, the appropriateness of deploying patrols in Syunik was discussed. It is not ruled out that patrols may be sent to Syunik sooner than planned.

Currently, patrol services have been implemented in Gyumri and Lori, with deployment underway in Aragatsotn, Kotayk, Gegharkunik, and Tavush regions. Implementation is expected in other regions next year, but there’s a possibility that this process could be expedited in Syunik.

US authorities and Soros-affiliated groups place significant importance on the establishment of patrols and the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has already held two consultations on this issue in the past month, where Daniel Ioannisyan and Arthur Sakunts regularly sit at the same table with the law enforcement agencies.
