71-Year-Old Intoxicated Driver Crashes Lexus and Overturns in Jermuk

On July 20, a major traffic accident occurred in the Vayots Dzor region. Around 8:00 PM, 71-year-old Bagratuni Grigoryan, a resident of the Vayots Dzor region, crashed his Lexus GX470 into the roadside barriers on Mashtots Street in Jermuk and overturned.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the driver was transported to the 'Jermuk' medical center for medical assistance. After receiving treatment, he reported that he refused to stay in the hospital, claiming that he felt well and had not been injured.

According to G. Shamshyan's information, the driver underwent a sobriety test and was found to be intoxicated.
