PHOTOS. Why the Dairy Processing Plant of Ani and Brothers Company Has Been Suspended

The production activity of the dairy processing plant of Ani and Brothers LLC (located in Gegharkunik Province, Vardadzor community) has been suspended by the decision of the head of the Food Safety Inspection Body of Armenia.

The basis for the decision are the violations of sanitary and hygienic standards recorded by inspectors during monitoring activities conducted by the regional center of the Inspection Body in Gegharkunik.

In particular, the production, auxiliary, and domestic sinks at the facility were not maintained in a clean and renovated condition, natural ventilation conditions and artificial ventilation systems were not ensured, and the equipment, tools, utensils, and containers in contact with food were not subjected to proper cleaning and disinfection.

The Inspection Body has set a deadline for the elimination of the identified violations.
