What Weather to Expect in the Coming Days

Attention: From July 19-20, the territory of the republic will continue to be under the influence of tropical hot air flows from the Arabian Peninsula. As a result, daytime temperatures in the Ararat Valley, the foothills of Aragatsotn and Vayots Dzor, as well as in Yerevan, are expected to reach +39…+41 degrees.

The high danger of fire will persist in the republic's valley and foothill areas. The intensity of ultraviolet radiation is expected to be above normal. It is recommended to avoid direct sun rays from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

In the territory of the republic, dry weather is expected on July 19 during the day, and on the 20th as well. From July 21-24, brief rains and thunderstorms are possible in certain northern regions. The wind will be southwest at 2-5 m/s. In Ararat, as well as in the foothills of Aragatsotn and Kotayk, an increase in wind speed of 13-16 m/s is expected in the evening.

The air temperature on July 22-23 is expected to decrease by 4-5 degrees.

In Yerevan: Dry weather is expected on July 19 during the day and from the 20th to the 24th. Wind strengthening at a speed of 13-16 m/s is anticipated in the evening.
