In the M15 European Championship, Yuri Mkhitaryan, competing in the 41 kg weight category, achieved a hard-fought victory over an Azerbaijani athlete.

According to Wrestling - Armenia, this win has propelled the Armenian wrestler into the finals, where he will face another athlete from Azerbaijan (two representatives from the same country can compete in this age group).

“Unfortunately, Davit Sargsyan (52 kg), Samvel Terteryan (62 kg), and Artur Amoyan (68 kg) faced defeats in closely contested matches and will now compete for bronze medals,” the publication notes.
