The British Grand Prix was interrupted by red flags midway through the first round as a chain of accidents destroyed five cars, according to Sports.ru.

It was noted that George Russell from Mercedes, Alex Albon from Williams, and Zhou Guanyu from Alfa Romeo were forced to retire. Esteban Ocon and Yuki Tsunoda's cars were repaired.

The main victim was reported to be Zhou, whose car crashed into the barriers, and efforts to free him from the vehicle lasted nearly half an hour.

At the same time, it was reported that there is no cause for concern since Zhou is doing well (according to the team, he is conscious and without fractures). Nevertheless, he and Albon were transported to the hospital for additional examinations.
