Drivers Remember City Hall Officials with Sweet Words: Shamshyan

While Yerevan Mayor Hrachya Sargsyan and the heads of administrative districts are taking turns claiming that there will be no more broken roads in the capital and that even asphalting will take place in yard areas, a pothole that has emerged near 24 Tbilisi Highway has become a real nuisance for drivers.

Almost every day, accidents occur because drivers are trying to avoid the mentioned pothole. The only consolation is that there have been no casualties or injuries, as reported by Shamshyan.com.

Resourceful drivers, seeing that the Yerevan City Hall and some district heads are noting that the area belongs to Kanaker-Zeitun, while others claim it is part of the Arabkir district, and without waiting for their operational response, have made an “obstacle” in the middle of the road by filling tires with stones and securing tree branches on top of them, but even that doesn’t help avoid accidents.

Yesterday, on July 17, more than 20 vehicles were involved in accidents because of this pothole. And drivers were remembering the responsible officials with the sweetest words, saying, “Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan should pave the way for those incompetent officials so they understand that the directives given by the Prime Minister must be executed urgently.”
