Biden Visits Armenian Church in Bethlehem
US President Joe Biden visited the Armenian Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem. This was reported by the Chief Secretary of the Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem, Hovnan Baghdasaryan. During the visit, which took place on July 15, the US president met with the Patriarch of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Jerusalem, Nurhan Manoukian.
“During the conversation with Biden, the Patriarch thanked him for the recognition of the Armenian Genocide, as well as discussed other topics,” the post said. It is noted that the Patriarch also presented the US President with a pomegranate and a plate made of Armenian ceramics.
