Armen Grigoryan did not allow to speak about health issues: lawyer

He did not allow us to speak in court about his health issues. Armen Grigoryan's lawyer Ruben Melikyan stated at a rally that Armen has a medical education and is a doctor. He said, 'I am handling my treatment.' Until now, he has not allowed us to speak in front of the court about his health issues.

On social media, some official circles have started to point fingers at the penitentiary institution. We have not seen any mistreatment towards Armen Grigoryan in prison; there have been minor issues that have been resolved very quickly.

The issue is when and by whom Grigoryan was imprisoned, under whose order, he ended up there exclusively for his political views, for a few emotional words he said during a broadcast in April 2021, which were recalled a year later.
