Italian Prime Minister Resigns

Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi has resigned. This was reported by his press service.

Draghi stated during a cabinet meeting that he would submit his resignation to the head of state, President Sergio Mattarella.

"This evening, I will present my resignation to the President of the Republic," said Draghi.
