The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that the heads of departmental subdivisions have presented the current situation and outlined the measures being taken to prevent the outbreak of fires and the equipment that will be used for firefighting if necessary.
According to reports, all fire protection units in the country are technically ready and equipped to carry out firefighting operations. If needed, helicopters will also be involved in the firefighting efforts. Water sources throughout the country have been electronically compiled and addressed for potential use.
Drone monitoring continues, along with public awareness efforts. Minister Pambukhchyan has instructed to enhance collaboration with the Ministry of Environment, regional administrations, and communities during these days to implement reinforced service in forestry, reserves, and other grass and plant-covered areas.
